Drift Runners 3D racing game by LONGANIMALS. Full package of Achievements, upgrades and cars + Hard Mode that unlocks after completing all achievements. But seriously though, this is really lame, are the LONGANIMALS only developers in the world able to create decent racing flash games? We have failed to locate any racing flash game that worth playing, that is not made by Turbo Nuke or LONGANIMALS. Lame but it’s a fact.
Back to Drift Runner 3D – as the title suggests, It’s a 3D racing flash game. Well actually it is difficult to tell whether it’s full 3D or pseudo or partially 3D. No big difference though, player gets 3D impression and that’s all that matters.
What’s Cool about Drift Runner 3D is the car mode details: All the cars in the game look really nice. Almost like the car models in Sony PlayStation 2 racing games. Good looks is a good news however, the important part of the game is its gameplay: The game is all about drifts, basically 90% of total game-time player is drifting. So adapting to the game mechanics will take some time… wouldn’t call it “hard” but it’s sort of unique.
Cars and Upgrades
Three kinds of Upgrades available in Drift Runner 3D
- Top Speed
- Turbo Boost
If you have played other games by LONGANIMALS, it works exactly the same: by winning or even losing races you get certain amount of cash, cash is used to buy and improve upgrades.
Unlike V8 Muscle Cars game where new cars are free, in Drift Runner 3D, all the new cars cost $:
- The Churner: $2500
- Asphalt Attacker: $2500
- Snowy Wonder: $2500
As you can see, there is no difference in price but each car is effective for certain type of tracks, has its advantages and disadvantages. Drift Runner 3D is pretty good if you like racing games in general but at the end of the day, it is a “Fan Only Game”.
